NBASLPA received confirmation from a Medavie Blue Cross official that in the event a physician prescribes the Proloquo2go software for a client, Medavie will not cover such as a benefit (as well as an iPod Touch) unless they receive a recommendation from a Speech-Language Pathologist. Please keep in mind that such software and equipment is not a benefit covered under most Medavie Blue Cross plans. For the time being, Medavie does not cover iPads and iPhones to use with Proloquo2go
